Not that it's possible, it's so muggy in New York I walk out side for 4mins and already need to delayer my-self.

Went home to visit my family over the weekend. Pierce has just started kindergarden and it's the sweetest thing. I asked him what he missed most about me and he stated that it was my curly hair and me buying him "things"hahaha. I do buy him a lot of stuff, come to think of it.

We went out to lunch and on the way home I saw this all american hot dog stand, I had to stop. Plus I really like my oversized moto jacket. It kind of reminds me of this 60's movie my mother wouldn't let me watch cause of the "teenage scenes" When I think of the name i'll let you know.

10am comfort

Raincoat: Ali Ro, Dress: Primary, Bag Rebecca Minkoff, Shoes: Converse

Rain is my most hated forecast. Mainly because I never have a raincoat (or is it jacket) to wear and/or when I do it's...let's put it this way, super lame. I recall my mother dressing me in what seemed to be a very bright yellow rain coat and booties when I was in the 1st grade, I had a teacher named Ms Wolf and she had the frizziest grey hair I had ever seen, which is besides the point. the point is I was wearing yellow and looked like a demented bird, my mother liked to put my hair in a pony-tail and having an EXTRA long face as a child didn't help the friend process...

I feel like this is now a therapy session. All i wanted to say was I'm just happy I picked this rain coat up Ali Ro. I wear it when it's not even raining. I'm a sucker for practical hoods and 3inch quarter sleeves.

Ever see a bug hypnotized by the glow of the bug zapper..and then well..poof (more like zap)..Thats how I feel right now minus the me being a bug part. I can't look away. I've always been secretly drawn to what reminds me of save by the bell prints and bungee jumping outfits. I know everyone has been calling it that and I'm just one in a million to have picked up on the term, but it's TRUE they really look like that. It's a rad jumpsuit regardless. I'm more attracted to the black and white striped shirt blouse, it has a sort of dolman sleeve effect that i'm particularly into. Anything that make me look more and more like a bat is perfect since almost all my long sleeve shirts have a sweet bat length to them.

Oh and hearing my friends La Femme play was another highlight on the already perfect collection....

Had brunch with the girls at the Crosby, it hasn't been a problem to wake up early for me since the light that fills my room in the morning is more white than anything i'm use to. I met some rad girls Dylana, Natalie's Sister and Bonnie. together our conversations shift from one subject to another and have a tendency of being loud....Decided to bring my creepers out the closet again. Ever so comfortable. Much better that walking around in heels or unbearable wedges.

We had spent the morning fooling around in the showroom and trying on different pieces , meeting Walter of course. nicest man ever. I'm feeling like sequined is becoming a staple piece for me. The sequin tank is an obvious favorite, as well as the silkly white blouse...no brainer I need more blouses in my life.
