Lazy overall

Lazed around the house in a Lily Ashwell overall dress all day Saturday. Mother nature really took a turn for the worst this Memorial Day weekend! Monday was the only amazing BBQ day! I spent Monday laying in the park with my friend Caroline. Spring has been really on and off so I've been brighting up my cloudy days with colorful bras. I never care if my bra shows or not especially in the summer, thats the last thing I want to think about.

Bought this dress while I was in Barcelona. I grew up on Zara as a kid and remember it never ever being this cool. It's where my mom went to get me the basic's or If I wanted to go out with my girlfriends I'd buy a black top that showed off my shoulders a little and I'd pair it with black skinny jeans and some broken in flats. Instant chic for the 9th grader guys. Now a days I dress a little differently. Although I'm still a sucka for basics or picnic table designs like this little retro dress I wore in Biarritz.

So apparently it's Memorial day weekend...coulda fooled me. I'd probably forget it was Christmas or my own birthday if I wasn't reminded all the time. Not sure what I'm doing this weekend. I always find that  stuff like this is just another excuse to go out and do even less then what you were going to do anyways. Maybe I'm wrong...i'm probably wrong. 

Wore some of my most comfiest basic's over the weekend. These simple pieces will take me right into fall and also are great layering pieces. And we all know I love to layer it's like my "thing". I layer cause I'm cold...not sure if anyone picked up on that one yet haha, but I'm always cold.

I feel like the month of May has gone by so fast! Paris seems like so long ago yet Biarritz seems so close...I can't wait for the summer to finally start, so I can have another valid reason to go home again.

I can't help but smile when I look down at my feet, these flats are probably the cutest thing I own. The little eye lashes are so adorable.
It's just another super sticky day in the city, the weather is down right humid and in sorts...uncomfortable. Been wearing loose dresses and my Dorota Todd ring almost everyday.

Win Passes to Roskilde !

Before it gets too hot outside to post  or wear anything with a jacket I wanted to share this outfit I wore a several weeks back when I was home visiting my dad on Long Island. He insisted on taking these photos of these old truck abandoned in our back yard...did I mention that I lived out in the middle of NOWHERE!?!

I love good vintage especially when it's not breaking the bank, this coat was under 70 dollars and will probably last me a life time if I take care of it...which means not throwing it in my closet with out a hanger *cough* *cough*  I almost wish it was cold out again so I could wear this outfit to today's music festival in Brooklyn!

Took these photos with Morgan the morning before flying to Paris. This spot is simply breathtaking. La cote Basque will forever be my favorite beach. Wore a vintage inspired slip from Topshop and simple flats I picked up while in Barcelona.
