I came home for halloween weekend to spend more time with Pierce who's really only joy in life is to playing PS3 and draw disturbing books ( my tumblr has a picture of the name of his book...)He's 5 so i'm guessing it's a phase. Wore the new Jbrand jeans in what I think is a perfect alternative color from black, forest green. A portion of the jeans bought go towards helping kids stay in school. One of the reasons why I love going home is that nothing ever really changes. Apart from the fact that everything is now an area to place Pierce's art. I found a sweet photo of myself when I was young, in the tub. My father snapped that photo when I was about 3, crying because I didn't have enough toys in the tub. (I had the longest curly hair)

the basics

Some products that I find myself using daily. Always relied on Victoria Secret for everything other than makeup, never would of thought that they would have the best primer I've ever used. I usually apply a thin layer of primer followed by two small dabs of the face illuminator that I put on my cheeks followed then by a swipe of bronzer that I also put on the long of my nose...Gives off a nice glow. Perfect.

Rebecca Taylor's SS12 preview. Sequins and poolside frolicking worthy pieces. Coral cape knee length dresses with simple knot details....I want more pieces with tight collars and lose arm holes. And see thru mesh tanks that give me that city athlete feel. Running after the 5 train after 5:30pm feel.

Patrol

Walking around the neighborhood with a bun, something I feel you guys most rarely see me in. I usually only wear them when at home or grocery shopping. I sort feel very après-ski in this ensemble. I'm gonna blame that on the leggings. The print is really growing on me! It's what I put on as soon I walk into my apartment and this mohair sweater is something I picked up at the H&M on Broadway after my shoot with Refinery 29. I shot an H&M look with several other bloggers.

Dotting your I's

Spent a morning running around from one thing to another, managed to actually get up and NOT dilly dally around my apartment. I have this sort of annoying tendency to wake up super early and then just sit in my bed and look out the window...stare at my floor and check tumblr. This morning was a tad bit different. Met up with Natalie, we oddly enough happen to always have the same schedule and it's works out because our gaps of in-betweens are not so boring anymore.

Notice how cocky I am showing off my nails? NCLA has an absurd crazy selection of prints to choose from. Actually had the Creator herself did my nails for me. We randomly started speaking French to each other. Always makes me happy. Love seeing showrooms when there are 20 things going on. Also have my eye on that sick Gabby Applegate peach cut out dress. Urban Indian.

Have to admit I was a little timid mixing these two patterns together. Houndstooth always reminds me of grandmothers...It was a sort of oldish effect of me, not sure if i like it yet or not. In my mind I probably thought I was channeling some modern young day grandma? I don't know.

Quite enjoying the length of my hair, as I had mentioned before I just so recently got it cut over at Arrojo's I promised you guys photos. I have them and sometimes they stare at me when I'm about to start writing. Coming soon. Promise.

Pulled on my favorite comfy pieces for a stroll. My oversized gold rose watch from La Mer Collections is a new addition to my ever growing watch collection and I also just started getting more into wearing other sorts of necklaces other than my average normal chains you see me wearing all the time. Vanessa Moony collection is layer haven...and I think i've managed to find a way to wear this rose mary inspired necklace at least every other day...

I leave for LA tomorrow I haven't even started packing! Been sitting my couch enjoying my last day off for a while and watching HBO, reruns of Rachel Zoe, answering forgotten emails, twitting and texting. Really want to have a halloween all nighter marathon of my most favorite movies, as I know, thats SO not happening and I'll probably whip out a half-ass costume next saturday night and wipe fake blood on my face and call it a day..I mean night.

-Madewell has this soft leather bomber jacket that has the right amount of buckle detail with out you feeling like your in a straitjacket. $495

Last Nights Sir Stage Party.

A couple shots from the Sir Stage party where the girls and I attended where 50 Cent played a private show. I got to rejoice/show of dance skills (not) in hearing In Da Club and P.I.M.P all over again. Thankyou. We also chilled out in front of the Kenneth Cole showroom a bit before and saw the new collection, I have so many phone pictures I think it's only necessary that I post them. You can also follow me on twitter and see them there too if you like. So the night ended up all of us jumping in a friend of a friend's van? 15 of us or more I really don't recall (DDdriver). But I do know that at one point I changed from heels to flats. I ALWAYS carry flats on me. I have these super inexpensive H&M fold flats that I bring with me everywhere. It's nice to give your feet a break and to have fun once in a while. That never hurts.
