Wearing one of my favorite purchases from my visit down south. I spotted this jacket at a forever 21 and almost left without it, I figured they were probably all sold out in New York.

Spent my Monday afternoon hanging with Shaun and walking 50 blocks (give or take). Our dates basically consist me dragging him around for hours. We dove into some movie theatre downtown. I kept thinking my phone was going off cause of some random ringing noise. After venturing around little Italy and China town we made a turn for the place I always seem to end up at. San Loco, a small taco place on Stanton. You can sometimes find me here after hours drinking frozen margaritas and munching on tacos.

Visited Mascot Studio on East 9th, I wanted to surprise my cousin Peter, going to try agin this week since it was closed.

Not long ago I was invited to the New York & Co offices to check out the new SS12 collection with Lindsay, which is huge by the way!! Amazing inspiration boards deck the walls and patterns sprawled across the tables. Really loving the pop colors and bold stripes.

Several items I hope to be wearing this season. T- strap ballet's with knee high's and over sized fur coats going for a very Tenenbaums approach. Thank you very much. Tory Burch has hands down the best candles. This particular one is also a massage oil...actually please don't take my word I have no idea if it's suppose to be used as a massage oil, but that's what I use it for. Haha.

Also I actually gave in and bought the ASOS ballet's in nude. I still would like them in red too...so Santa if you're listening, you know the deal.

I finally figured out where the nearest post office is. A short ten block walk. Of course the first time I go, I spend almost an hour in line just to realize that the package I was waiting for wasn't ready till tomorrow.

I started bringing out all my winter clothes in an attempt to jump start the snow and blizzards. I don't ever recall having such a warm winter and this weather is really throwing me off. I'm crazy over this cranberry colored jacket that I just picked out from Soia & Kyo. It's such a great holiday color and the fur hood is deep enough to cover all my hair. My struggle with not wearing all black is really not as hard as I thought.

Ordinary days

The one and only thing I hate about traveling is not packing enough. Sometimes challenging and other times just a pain in the ass.

This time around it was a bit of both being, though mainly aggravating (I only brought two real outfits). I got a lot of use out of my new, but worn in sheer Kain top and I've been using this Joie coat as a blanket. This may sound creepy...and slightly juvenile, but I do have a real blanket or blankie. It's brown and was given to me years ago as a gift. I've brought it with me to the cinema, restaurants, grocery shopping, strolls, trips. It's the 1st thing I wrap around me when I get home. I feel like it's grown with me.

Spending the morning with Natalie downtown after castings and before grabbing a bite to eat. Wearing all black and a Kelly Weastler scarf. The scatter brush strokes that mostly cover the tips are so unique, leaving me with nothing like it in my closet. Currently finding ways to wear this as a top next summer.

Southern bells and whistles

Layered a Juicy Dress over an over used All Saints top. I'm really soaking up the last bit of warmth before I head back to NY Sunday morning. And that means going bare leg. Had my hair blown out at my grandmothers salon. I think I might make this something I do more often. I love parting my hair down the middle and it looks less crazy when I do it with strait hair.

I spent the whole day yesterday Christmas shopping and I believe that I might have bought myself enough candles for the year. My favorite are the fragrance oil burners. Potently perfect! Anyone who knows me knows I love candles.

Greetings from South Carolina

Spending some time in South Carolina with my mom's side of the family. My cousins have been getting me super pumped for Black Friday. We have some sort of plan for tonights craziness we actually scooped out the area before hand, haha it was a very funny experience a lot of screaming empty parking lots. I told them I just want to buy candles and bed sheets...apparently thats not what Black Friday is all about.

Managed to get my brother to willingly pose with me in a picture. Ever since I can remember in every single photo of Philip Charles and I I've always posed. My favorite picture is when Phil and I are in France i'm about 4 or 5, We are sitting on the floor of the kitchen and I have my arm around poor Philip, I might have been chocking him, I have the biggest smile though.
