I've been so lazy with dressing myself this for me is now my almost everyday look. Socks and garden socks and I'm out the door. I mean, you guys know me I'm all about comfort, if it's comfortable then I'm wearing it.

Who doesn't love a good flare? I've been getting really sick of skinny jeans, but sometimes It's hard to find a good medium. These jeans work really well for me, I really wanted something that just barely hit the floor and wasn't too baggy and of course Free People had it, they have everything.

Romantic days

Sometimes I just want to stay on my roof at night and light candles, just sleep up there, like in the movies ya know? Being on a roof is so romantic...you get to see the skyline you're so up high it's like you're flying. I love how something so dangerous can also be so romantic. My little joyride ended as soon as it began, a neighbor ran up to tell me to leave the roof immediately. Being the sweet talker I am he let me snap some pictures of my short lived joy. He didn't really try to get to know me, but something we both agreed on is New York is beautiful...

I'm sorta obsessed with it and have been uploading photos all morning when I should be grocery shopping (I have a feeling trader Joe's is going to be hell in about n' hour).

ALIEN DAWN

Okay guys....The time has finally come!! All those months of filming and falling off a skate board has finally paid off! Alien Dawn premiers this Friday and I couldn't be more excited so share something I worked so hard on. Some of my best memories come from working on set with the boys. 

Those long overnights where I'd find myself asleep drooling on Nick in the backseat of the van and Aaron blasting his loud annoying music. I'd wake up every ten minutes to kick his seat telling him to shut his music off or I'd kill everyone in the car. 

Having some friends over my apartment, family style. Breaking out the popcorn and pizza! Oh let the good times roll cause I know that my friends will be cracking jokes the entire time...and I can't wait! :)

Easy walks

A couple of weeks ago, some of my friends from France came to visit me while I was in mid move, leaving Upper East Side for some East Village. It was a very stressful move, but having friends to ease the tension really helped me out a lot! I'm not the best tour guide... and I'm not that person who "knows the best place to get pizza..." (those people are SO annoying). So we walked around Chinatown, lower east side & east village. We talked, window shopped and Morgan's boyfriend Johnny took some pictures. I'd let them do all the touristy things that I find a little boring and we'd meet for lunch or dinner and then go out. I miss my friends but I'll see them this summer in Biarritz!

Currently at JFK waiting for the red eye to Paris. I'm so sleepy I could pass out (knew I should of taken that nap) Can't wait to get to Paris and work on a very secret/fun collaboration. I'll spill more on the details later...for now follow me on Instagram and find me on Vine (under Trop Rouge)

Hope you guys all had an great Valentines day! I went home last night to spend a couple days with my dad and brother before I leave for Paris on Saturday. I'm going for work, but promised my mom that I'd come and stay over for a few nights, plus Pierce has NO CLUE i'm going to be in Paris! He just turned 7 so my dad and I got him 7 DVD's and Playstation games (sale bin! haha). I can't wait to be back in Paris, you can follow my adventures via Instagram

So happy to finally be posting my photos from my weekend in Malibu. I think it was my first time there...I'm not sure though, cause I'm really bad at remembering places I've been (stupid yes I know).

Anyways, Malibu was amazing, I surfed, hung out with friends and celebrated the new Quiksilver collection at the Quiksilver store in Malibu. inspired by Malibu actually. I really hope I get to go back to California soon. It's so beautiful, I say this all the time and I mean it too...but you guys are so lucky! I love New York, don't get me wrong but the Cali vibe is super rad, reminds me a little bit of Biarritz.

It's getting close to that 3 year mark here on Trop Rouge...pretty gnarly right? I hope I didn't miss my own blog anniversary (oopsi) !! I've been thru so much during these past 3 years...

 Trop Rouge has become a personal travel diary full of music, friends and style (I hope haha) Personal crap, so much love & heartbreak & laughs & cry's and you've followed me thru all that.  I started a Tumblr around the same time I decided to start the blog and I have to tell you..I love tumblr maybe even more than blogging? It's fun to answer questions....normal or weird. (and boy do I get some pretty weird questions) I think one of the weirdest ones was if I liked to small farts....no I do not, but interesting question.

Anyways...I'll probably write this whole thing out again in a couple days, because I think my anniversary is in a couple days, but whatever...I'll do what I want. It's my party.

I love my new neighborhood. The East Village is perfectly charming. My cousin lives down the block from me and we live near a KFC....I'm not proud to say this, but I've had some late night cravings...and it won't happen again...I promise.

Wore the only sneakers I own, I don't know what I would do without them. I don't care much about fashion week so I've been running around in these older than old kicks and basics. I prefer being comfortable and warm.

{Mood} Meredith Wendell

I've been seeing neon everywhere, but not as crazy as how I use to see them before. Now whenever I spot neon it's like this little splatter or bright color. I'm honestly not a huge fan of neon, except when done right and in small doses, which is I suppose is the reason I was inspired to a Polyvore set using one of my new favorite designers Meredith Wendell. She knows how to do neon, without it being cray loud.

Just got back from a weekend in Malibu. I love everything about California, especially the weather. It's of course freezing in New York. The good news is that I'm just almost finished with unpacking my stuff in my new apartment! I have a lot more to go and know that my room won't look normal till I put up shelves. As of now everything is just scattered around my room leaving it almost impossible to navigate, but I'm happy. Hope everyone is keeping warm on these super cold NY nights.
